Why did you join Medoutreach?: I love to travel and learn about new places and cultures and I know this experience will provide a new perspective on how to be the best health care professional and person that I can. The Medoutreach program caught my eye when I first started dental school at Western. As a senior dental student, I am excited to finally have the skills and knowledge to really make a difference and be able to provide care to people who don’t have access to dental care, and may otherwise be living with untreated infection or pain. We have a great team, and I look forward to working together the nursing and medical students to make a positive impact on the communities that we visit in Tanzania.
