Why did you join Medoutreach?: I have always had a passion for travel and for exploring new aspects of health care on a global perspective. What I am the most excited about is being able to share my knowledge and skills with other health care professionals where it is needed more urgently than in Canada. I feel that it is very important to view myself as a health care partner on a global scale. I hope to gain a very unique perspective on global health care from this experience, demonstrate myself as a positive representative of Western University and implement health care resources that will have a long-term positive affect on the state of health care in Tanzania.

10 years in the future:
10 years from now I hope to be a master in my profession by utilizing research as well as experience components of nursing. I see the role of the nurse as an opportunity to become diversified and empirical, through the interaction with others and by embracing the ever-changing methodology of the medical field.
