MedOutreach teaches at several primary and secondary schools in Arusha, reaching over 680 young people. Topics include: HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, reproductive health, oral hygiene, nutrition, healthy living and diabetes, and substance abuse. This year MedOutreach hopes to provide teacher education as well. MedOutreach also provides $6000 worth of scholarships for promising secondary students that would otherwise be unable to pay for post-secondary education.
